Thanksgiving Drive Provides Food for 105 Families

The week of Thanksgiving, Denver Options’ staff delivered food baskets and gift cards to 105 Denver Options’ families for the Thanksgiving holiday. While many staff, board members and community members donated their time and money to the success of the Thanksgiving drive, one community member went above and beyond.

2-10 Home Buyers Warranty and its sister company, National Home Insurance Company (NHIC), contributed 50 large boxes of food to the Thanksgiving drive this year. Marni Vincent, a 2-10 representative, first approached Denver Options to see if the organization would be able to receive a food donation.

“As a company, we wanted to help an organization that provides services to families around our community, and choosing Denver Options was a perfect fit for our company,” said Marni. Over the next few weeks Rachel Keeler and Lisa Turk, who headed up the FIESTA Committee sponsoring the drive, coordinated with Marni and her staff to raise and receive the large donation.

“Lisa and I are ecstatic about the donation from 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty and NHIC. This is an awesome partnership that we are excited about developing for future Thanksgiving drives,” Rachel expressed. “Marni was instrumental in initiating this partnership and motivating her agency to make this year’s drive a huge success. We wouldn’t have been able to serve all the families nominated this year without the support of 2-10 and NHIC. We are very grateful!”
