Denver 360° Program Hosts Open House at New Location

Denver 360°, a program of Denver Options, hosted an open house at their new office location in the Five Points Plaza on Friday, November 6. The event featured a brief program with Carla Madison, City Councilwoman for District 8, and Denver Options’ Executive Director, Dr. Stephen Block. State Senator Pat Steadman and City Councilwoman Judy Montero also attended in support of the program. The open house offered food provided by donors, tours of the office areas and live music performed by Freddy Rodriguez and The Jazz Connection.
The Denver 360° program provides employment services for people who receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) services from the city and county of Denver. “Many 360° customers have multiple barriers that prevent them from finding employment,” 360° Program Director, Gayann Brandenburg, stated, “including limited education, disabilities, limited transportation or a background of generational poverty.” Each customer receives individualized support based on their needs and the barriers they face, including training on searching and applying for jobs and practicing interviewing skills.
Denver Options chose to locate the new Denver 360° offices in the Five Points Plaza after considering several locations. “We wanted to be located within the community we serve and accessible by public transportation,” Brandenburg explained. The offices are located above the Welton St. Café at 2736 Welton St., Denver, CO 80205.
Thank you to our donors for supporting the open house:
