Dinah Cohen
Dinah F. B. Cohen is the Director for the Department of Defense (DoD) Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program (CAP). Ms. Cohen works closely with senior leadership through-out the Federal sector to ensure employees, beneficiaries, and members of the public with disabilities have equal access to Federal services and employment. Ms. Cohen also initiated a program to provide assistive technology and accommodation support to wounded service members to aid in their rehabilitation and recovery process.
Latoya Lucas
Just one month after the initial invasion of Iraq in 2003, Latoya Lucas was deployed and severely injured in a rocket-propelled grenade attack during a supply mission. She suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and multiple physical woundsn and she was the first woman at Ft. Carson to be awarded a Purple Heart. Latoya later chronicled her experiences in her book, The Immeasurable Spirit. She receives services through Operation TBI Freedom and travels the country as a motivational speaker.
